Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections

Al-Adalah: Jurnal Hukum dan Politik Islam welcomes scholarly discussions, comments, and corrections concerning articles previously published in the journal, particularly those relevant to legal scholarship, Islamic law, and Islamic politics. Readers who wish to submit a discussion, comment, or correction regarding a published article may contact the Editor-in-Chief through the journal's official contact channel, providing a clear explanation of the issues raised and relevant supporting arguments, references, or evidence where appropriate.

The Editor-in-Chief and the editorial team will assess each submission to determine its academic relevance, scholarly merit, accuracy, and suitability for publication. Submissions must contribute constructively to scholarly discussion and comply with the journal's publication ethics policies. Where appropriate, the editorial team may consult independent experts or reviewers before making a decision.

If accepted, a discussion, comment, or correction may be published in a subsequent issue of Al-Adalah as a Letter to the Editor or another appropriate scholarly contribution, subject to the journal's editorial policies and publication format.

The author or authors of the original article will be given an opportunity to respond to substantive comments or criticisms concerning their published work. Any response must be submitted to the editorial team for assessment and, if accepted, may be published as a Reply to the Letter to the Editor or in another appropriate format.

All post-publication discussions, comments, corrections, and replies are subject to editorial assessment to ensure academic relevance, accuracy, fairness, and compliance with the journal's publication ethics policies. Where a published article requires a formal correction or retraction, the editorial team will handle the matter in accordance with the journal's correction and retraction policies.
