Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points,...
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Provisions for Writing Al-Syakhshiyyah Journal.

We accept conceptual articles or research reports that have never been published before and / or are not in the process of being published in other media with the following conditions:

The conceptual paper or research report falls into the category of legal and humanities studies. Articles can be written in Indonesian or English in the range of 10 -25 pages. The paper size is A4 with a top and left margin of 4 cm, and a bottom and right margin of 3 cm. The required font is Times New Roman with a size of 12, and 1.5 spaces. Manuscript titles in Indonesian are a maximum of 12 words, while manuscript titles in English are a maximum of 10 words. Abstracts are written in 2 (two) languages (English-Indonesian) containing 50 to 300 words. Keywords consist of 3 (three) to 5 (five) words or phrases.

The writing system of the research report must include the title, author's name; Abstract; Keywords; research background (with Research Questions); Research methods; Research Results and Analysis; Conclusion and Reference.

The systematics of the conceptual review includes: Title; Writer's name; Abstract; Keywords; Preliminary; Discussion (immediately presented in the post based on matters discussed); Conclusion and Reference.
