Abstract

This study examines the implementation and impact of Taruna Melati 1 cadre training through Islamic Religious Education in shaping the character of grade VII students at Muhammadiyah Al-Amin Junior High School, Sorong City. Using a qualitative approach and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), data were collected through interviews with students, teachers, and IPM mentors. The results show that the training integrated Islamic values, leadership, and interactive activities, contributing to students' discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, cooperation, and social awareness. Despite challenges related to time, facilities, motivation, and parental support, the program contributed to strengthening students' Islamic character and Muhammadiyah identity.
