Increase in the Number of Articles on Palakka: Media and Islamic Communication

We, the Editorial Board  of PALAKKA: Media and Islamic Communication Journal, are pleased to announce an important development regarding our publishing policy.

Given the high enthusiasm, outstanding quality of manuscripts, and significant increase in the number of submissions to our journal in recent periods, we decided to take a strategic step in an effort to accommodate this great interest.

Starting from Volume 7, Number 1 of 2026, PALAKKA: Media and Islamic Communication will officially increase the number of articles published in each volume/edition from the previous 8 articles to 10 per volume/edition.

This decision was taken as a manifestation of our commitment to:

  • Accommodates high interest: Provides greater space for researchers and academics to publish their best works.
  • Maintaining quality: Despite the increase in quantity, we ensure that  the peer-review process  and quality standards for the publication  of the PALAKKA: Media and Islamic Communication  Journal  will remain strict and guaranteed.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the trust you have given to PALAKKA: Media and Islamic Communication  as a forum for the publication of your scientific work. Your support and active participation are the main drivers for the progress of our journal.

We hope that this adjustment can further accelerate the dissemination of knowledge and provide wider benefits to the academic community.
