KONSEPSI DAN APLIKASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH (Analisis Kajian Konsep ESQ Ary Ginanjar Agustian)

This paper contains the complexity of the problems surrounding the character which are thought and concern along with all components. The character crisis is characterized by the rise of moral decadence. This phenomenon requires the urgency of character education for students both at school and at home / community environment. The application of forming character education in madrasas and at home can be done with the ESQ concept developed by Ary Ginanjar. The analysis of this paper is based on the study of the ESQ concept of Ary Ginanjar in its application in schools / madrasas. Based on the results of the ESQ concept analysis it was found that ESQ can be integrated into each subject; self-development program (madrasa culture); integration of co-curricular and extracurricular activities; and daily activities at home. Thus, the ESQ concept developed by Ary Ginanjar Agustian can shape character students and can respond to contradictory lives.
